YDNPA New Local Plan Consultation No. 5
The Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority is part way through preparing a new Local Plan (2023-2040). This will set out its planning policy for the national park, and for the first time will include the new areas added to the national park in 2016. In the latest part of the public consultation, the Authority published its set of ‘preferred policies’ in late June 2022 (available for reference below):
We set up a small task force to craft a detailed response to those preferred policies and submitted this in late August 2022 – downloadable below. This response explains which policies we support as well as those where we feel there is room for improvement or more clarity.
